Part of the stable of ITS Creative and Experiential Spaces, the Creativity and Play Studio (CAPS) is a pilot collaboration between the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning and the Academic Technology Team.
Designed with the input of Educational Innovation Fellows, CAPS is a space for exploration, ideation, and collaboration. It’s a place for game study, prototyping of game-based learning experiences, and learning via gameplay.
This semester, the studio will be utilized for game studies focused courses including THTR/ART-090 (Transformational Play: How Do Our Values Make the World Around Us?) and ENGL-090/THTR-090 (All Fun and Games: How Does Play Change Us?)
The Creativity and Play Studio is currently in pilot for Fall 2026. However, if you are interested in learning more about the space, please open a consultation ticket and mention “Creativity and Play Studio 370D” in your request.
